About Me
I feel that I am home when I am at JLE. I attended K-5 here myself and graduated from the Hudson High School. I am starting my 17th year of teaching and have spent all 17 years in Kindergarten.
Many members of my family still reside in the area and even work for the Hudson City School District. For those of you who know Mrs. Hoffman, she is my mother and she works in Mrs. Groat's first grade and Mrs. Sweet's second grade. If you bring your child to school you will also see her as the person who stands out in all kinds of weather to help get your child out of the car and into our school safely. When leaving JLE and entering the Intermediate school you will certainly have Mrs. Cox for Physical Education. Be sure to say hi, she is my sister. My brother is a Hudson Police Officer and you may see him around our HCSD campus. I no longer reside inside the district myself but will always think of Hudson as home.
Your kids may often come home talking about Hannah and Spencer, these are my children. Outside of school I have many activities and hobbies but my favorite is paper crafting. If I'm not talking about my time at JLE then I am most certainly telling some one about my excitement over the latest paper crafting product.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about the school, how the day runs, or your child's progress. My goal is for us to be partners in your child's education so they can learn the value of what we do here and how important it will be for them in the future.
